Why is the first touch in football essential? In modern football, the optimization of the number of touches, the speed of execution and the reduction of playing times is essential. Oriented reception is considered in practice as dribbling, which is useful for effectively overcoming an opponent. The difference between receiving with the ball stopped and moving determines the transition from basic technique to technique applied to the game context. I think it is important to train the real stopping of the ball to master the apparatus at the level of domination, but it is good to practice on the first touch thinking to facilitate the gesture that will follow (driving, dribbling, transmission, shot on goal or first touch in football). The oriented control provides for a decisive movement of the sphere by means of a rapid change of direction, so as to save time and space within the game situation, and can be carried out in all directions.
Don’t wait for the ball to stand still. Better yet, make a move towards encounter or running and avoid bouncing.
The contact surface must not be completely rigid, so as to avoid the “wall” effect, the limb involved must be loose, relaxed.
